How did you get here?
Marketing has always been my passion. For the last 17 years, I was in the M.I.C.E. sector, working with some of the leading B2B brands in the region, and running a regional marketing team. Ying Communications was a key PR partner I worked with for many years. When I decided to venture out of the M.I.C.E. sector, this opportunity at Ying turned up. Ultimately, I made the decision to join Ying because I enjoy working with the team, and their culture, business ethos and professional approach resonate with me.
I work closely with clients, helping them to make smart marketing decisions and to find creative ways to tell their brand story. Not very different from what I used to do in my previous life as an event marketer with SingEx Exhibitions, Koelnmesse, Reed Exhibitions and Terrapinn. The only difference lies in the fact that I deal a lot more with external customers now. At the end of the day, customers, whether external or internal, want solutions to their communications problems and that’s what we provide. I like to think of myself as their Chief Problem Resolver.
